I'm Sachin. I am a Software Engineer at Miltenyi Biotec, Cologne, where I develop computational solutions for the bioinformatics team.

My journey began with a PhD in Physics from IIT Madras (2020), specializing in the modeling and simulation of biomembrane morphology. Before joining the industry, I spent 3.5 years as a postdoctoral researcher in Germany - first at Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS) in Görlitz and later at the Center for Systems Biology Dresden (CSBD). My research focused on developing advanced numerical methods to simulate complex biological geometries. A Linux enthusiast at heart, I am driven by the challenge of bridging the gap between theoretical physics and scalable computational biology.
